THE ENDLESS OPTIONS OF TEQUILAS MIGHT SEEM OVERWHELMING WHEN YOU WALK IN, BUT DON’T WORRY.
The true kick off of the festival starts on May 23rd at the Epicurean Hotel. From 6-10pm, the hotel is transformed into the Grand Tequila Tasting Event. Here, you can sample unlimited, yeah we said unlimited, tequilas from some of the best brands out there like Sauza and Grand Marnier. While you sip on tequilas, there will also be food stations that perfectly pair with each drink. Then, the big day starts at 2pm on Saturday, May 24th at the Cutis Hizxon Waterfront Park and goes until 10pm.

Although general admission ranges from $10-20 day of, the VIP areas available to you cannot go unnoticed! First off there is the Le Vie Grand Marnier experience. Prices go from $75-100 day of. Each pass allows fest-goers to have a shaded, cool area with endless top shelf margaritas. There is also the Don Julio VIP cabana. You and 20 of your friends can have a private, elevated area with your own bottle service, and a perfect view of the festival. This package is available upon request. You can also purchase your own 18oz souvenir glass for less waste, and a convenient refillable cup.
So, be sure to come celebrate Tampa’s favorite drink this Memorial Day weekend! Margarita Festival is 21 and up only, and please, drink responsibly. We know you want to waste away in Margaritaville; but be sure to take a cab home. <
Throughout the day there will be live performances, as well as beach volleyball and games. Re-entry is available with your wristband, so feel free to explore the great city of Tampa while your visiting. To top off the day, there’s a spectacular firework show around 9:45pm with huge blasts of colors bursting over the festival and the beautiful Tampa Bay waters. A perfect ending to a festive day!
