This could not have come at a better time as the center prepares to celebrate their 10th year anniversary providing digestive and liver care to Central Florida. Award winning physicians Dr. Seela, Dr. Ramesh, and Dr. Sheela are board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and Dr. Larach is board certified in colon and rectal surgery. The practice has locations in East Orlando, Downtown, and Altamonte Springs. The main location on Dean Road offers Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm availability and Saturday morning appointments, which is very convenient for professionals with busy schedules. Patients can call the office or request appointments through the web site as well. The office and surgical center offer a bilingual staff. Digestive and Liver Center of Florida’s physicians treat a variety of gastroenterology related diseases and conditions ranging from evaluation and prevention of colon and esophageal cancer to acid reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome and chronic conditions such as hepatitis C. In addition, the physicians expertise includes endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and enteroscopies. Dr. Seela, Dr. Ramesh, and Dr. Sheela are teaching attending physicians at Florida Hospital Internal Medicine Residency and Family Practice Residency (M.D. and D.O.)

programs. First year medical students from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine also rotate at the center in order to complete their Community of Practice 1 module. Since the practice opened its doors in 2005, the physicians have added many services for their patients in order to fulfill their mission to provide compassionate, caring, and sophisticated medical care to our community. In 2012, the Endo-Surgical Center of Florida was added to the practice, offering patients a safe, affordable, beautiful and convenient option to undergo procedures in an outpatient setting. The EndoSurgical Center of Florida provides colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, advanced diagnostics and therapeutic procedures, radiofrequency ablation for patients with Barrett’s Esophagus and non-surgical hemorrhoid treatment. The surgical center has been recognized by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for quality and safety and it is accredited by The Joint Commission. In 2014, Dr. Sergio Larach joined the practice. His interests include the whole spectrum of colorectal issues, and his addition to the practice involves colonoscopies, anorectal diseases and pelvic floor evaluations. Dr. Larach is fluent in Spanish. He has been instrumental in the development of the TAMIS procedure for the treatment of rectal cancers. The physicians are regularly involved in providing gastroenterology services and reach out to community centers by providing free education seminars. There is a free support group for patients with hepatitis C and a gluten free support group available to patients as well. <
