FOREWARD When we started out to craft a “different” watch brand in early 2013, we sought to avoid recreating “classics” and “basics”. Only because there is nothing more diminishing to a good watch design than a nonchalent approach of repetition. Since then, we have stuck to a single design philosophy of going against the grain, pragmatically. NATO straps were brilliant for their interchangeability but boring - We tore it apart and came out with a weave that allowed insane graphic prints. Clean dial designs were too clinical - We then created dimension on our watch faces with highly legible double layered dials or raised indexes.
Satisfaction came from doing something different in an age old industry that took normality for granted. Even more satisfying, is in doing so by designing every single detail in our watches from the bottom up. In this issue, we turn sleek into sophistication with our latest iteration of the Maverick series watches. Along with the Mavericks, we launch the anti-basics strap collection, which bears our hallmark of bold yet wearable graphic prints. In our strongest collection yet, we continue to do things that metaphorically thumb our noses to those who seek to suppress the imagination.

MAVERICK RENEWED The evolution of HyperGrand’s iconic Maverick series, paired with the equally bold Anti-basic strap collection. In continuing the HyperGrand spirit of going against the grain, we upsized the sequel to the Maverick watch where others would have trimmed. Sharp detailing, multiple case finishes, topped off with a multi-layered dial - We un-simplified an icon. As with all our releases, no watch series is complete without a complimentary watch strap range. The Anti-basic NATO strap collection bears HyperGrand’s hallmark of bold, yet wearable graphic art. The Maverick series also comes with Classic leather strap and NATO leather strap options.

Korean bag maker, BLC, centers its design philoshophy on legendary architect, Louis Sullivan’s famous words, “form follows function”. Known for its subtle yet rebellious forms, BLC designs active, casual and formal bags.
LOW CLASSIC, LOCLE for short, is a label from South Korea that focuses on modern minimalist classics. Centered on creative expression, classic silhouettes and stylish materials, LOCLE made its mark as a design label known for its innovative detailing.
The collaboration entitled “concatenation of present”, features 2 mono watches adapted from HyperGrand’s 01NATO series, and bags from BLC.
The exclusive timepiece is adapted from HyperGrand’s 01NATO series. It comes with a black leather NATO strap, and a minimalist double striped HyperGrand NATO strap.
