Rochdale Town Centre's summer food & drink

If you're looking for delicious cocktails, mouthwatering seasonal menus, relaxing outdoor terraces and enchanting beer gardens this summer, then look no further than Rochdale Town Centre!

The town boasts a growing array of cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs, from rustic wine bars and historic pubs to quaint cafes and contemporary restaurants, along with a bustling nightlife and quality live music acts.

Due to the ongoing refurbishment of our magnificent Town Hall, the surrounding roads are now pedestrianised. Please continue to support the fantastic bars and restaurants by using one of the many public car parks, such as at The Riverside Shopping Centre or the Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre... or hop in a taxi and enjoy the town centre's extensive and varied drinks offering.

Why not sample The Medicine Tap's mouthwatering menu, made with quality locally sourced food as you drink and dine on The Esplanade.

The outdoor terrace at Bean Cafe at Rochdale Riverside is also a firm favourite with visitors, providing a stylish, relaxing environment in which to enjoy lunch, fresh coffee and cake.

The Baillie Street Quarter is home to Petite Bistro where you can find everything from bottomless brunches to club sandwiches, and outdoor tables available. Above Petite Bistro is the fabulous Tree House bar - the place for cocktails and rum... for a 'holiday in a glass' try their Jazzy Blue Moon!

Just around the corner is La Mancha, offering authentic Spanish Tapas in a relaxed atmosphere, while rustic wine bar Vicolo Del Vino, combine real traditional Italian food with an array of specialist wine, beer and gin from around the world. Both La Mancha and Vicolo Del Vino offer outdoor seating on a quaint cobbled street.

Situated above Vicolo Del Vino, quirky micro pub The Pint Pot offers rotating cask ales, a fantastic range of bottled beers, wines plus homemade pies and sausage rolls.

Street food and craft beer emporium, Bombay Brew, has a new menu of reinvented Indian classics alongside a fantastic beer selection and a dreamy summer cocktail list.

Hogarths offer a wide drinks menu and a large outdoor terrace with alpine ski hut seating, overlooked by a giant cockerel!

Located on South Parade in the former Union Bank of Manchester, is the impressive Mannerist bar, offering an exciting drinks menu.

The Baum in Rochdale’s historic Toad Lane always turns heads with it’s enviable beer selection but now boasts a modern British menu and a walled beer garden, beautifully lit with festoon lights.

The award winning Flying Horse Hotel have a full diary of live bands and jam nights along with a huge range of real ales and homemade dishes. Next door, live music venue Empire showcases talented tribute acts, karaoke nights and sunday sessions.

Yates serves great value food and drink providing the perfect place for a brunch, lunch or an afternoon pint and a lively party venue in the evening, while The Regal Moon serves more real ale than any other establishment in the Wetherspoon chain.

Unique independent venues include house music bar The 13ar and social hub and bar Hoochi Koochi, where you can enjoy indie, rock, soul and even comedy nights!

If you prefer a quieter setting, micro pub D'Ale House serves quality craft ale. While the Cask & Feather, at the top of Drake Street, boasts a comprehensive and varied selection of cask and keg ales which can be enjoyed in the cosy interior or charming beer garden.

Rochdale Riverside is home to a popular selection of eateries including Nandos, Loaded Burger, the delectable Heavenly Desserts and gourmet pizza company Crust.
