ADDA A classroom in a natural abode A workshop to promote the use of bamboo was organised in collaboration with Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Students and professionals from different disciplines like architecture, design, engineering and so on came together from Delhi NCR, and other states to take part in it, where they were informed about the characteristics of the material, and the benefits of using them. A total of eighty participants worked in a four day workshop that was designed to give a hands-on experience on bamboo cultivation, themework, attitude, and time management. An experimental ground was created to execute the bamboo installation, designed by the participants themselves, and a "live ground - Adda" (adda is a colloquial hindi word, which means, a youth hangout place) where interactive open classes can be held for the students of the faculty, was created.
