Blair Dunlop is a captivating vocalist, phenomenal guitarist and over the past year has emerged as one of the UK’s new breed of fine singer-songwriters, winning the prestigious Horizon Award at the 2013 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

A one-man Cockney soul band, poet and storyteller, singing his own unique upbeat dance stories. A modern travelling troubadour using tap shoes, acappella, harmonica, guitar, trombone, spoons, finger cymbals, bandorea, djembe and various percussion instruments!

Blair Dunlop’s achingly beautiful Blight & Blossom may be one of the most memorable and melodic debut albums of recent years, with exquisitely crated songs that connect with his audience on a deeply emotional level that belies his age. “The British folk scene has produced a series of impressive dynasties, and this looks like the start of yet another” THE GUARDIAN

Over his much travelled career, Rory has played with many great musicians including, Ani Di Franco, Michelle Shocked, Towns Van Zandt; Ali Farke Toure, Flaco Jiminez, and in Australia Mick Thomas, and the Backsliders. “You don’t listen to McLeod, you travel with him” CITY HUB
