The Ipswich Jets and Brisbane South Wildcats have been locked in a fierce netball rivalry for years, which continues to be fueled by recent player movement between clubs, and a battle for SUPREmecy OF the LARGER Brisbane region.

» Last season, the Ipswich Jets managed to come out on top against their rivals, winning both games against the Brisbane South Wildcats and finishing higher on the ladder.

» In wake of this, their rivalry became even more intense with many of last years Wildcats roster jumping ship to the Jets for 2023. In response, the Wildcats have looked to the National market to bolster their roster.

» The Brisbane Wildcats had a suprisingly tough season in ‘22, they will need to work hard in ‘23 to regain their form of previous years where they were regulars at the top of the table.

» With fresh talent on the Wildcats side, and an established winning formula on the Jets side, both teams look to challenge the top of the Sapphire Series in 2023.

» The two Struddys teams are set to face off against each other in the opening round of the Sapphire Series, which promises to be an intense battle.

» We are excited to watch on as both sides will be looking to make a statement and gain an early advantage in the competition, and fans can expect a thrilling match.
