Fellas Following Footpaths

For our first walk in April we picked up the Ivanhoe Trail near Ratby and walked through to Glenfield before heading back via a very muddy and slippery footpath – but the least said about the slippery bit the better. We will be meeting on the first Thursday of each month until September, walking out of Groby and back via a different route for 60-90 minutes on at times muddy/rough paths – so walking boots and possibly waterproofs required. If the route takes us by a local pub we will stop for a short drink. The next walk at 7pm on 5th May starting from the URC car park will probably take us out through Martinshaw Woods to Ratby and then back into Groby on the old railway line. This is a Churches Together evening and fellas from both churches are encouraged to come along with a non-church friend. Just turn up on the night. 17
