Clement W. Fugh Dr. Clement W. Fugh received his B.B.A from the University of Memphis, his Th.M. from the Boston University School of Theology, and his D.Min. from United Theological Seminary. He completed additional studies at Atlanta University, Payne Theological Seminary, and Memphis Theological Seminary. Fugh is the General Secretary and Chief Information Officer of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. He served over thirty years as Pastor to congregations in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio, and has contributed to Liberation and Unity, a COCU sponsored devotional, to the African American Devotional Bible, and to The Pastor's Manual for the Twenty-First Century. He served as Secretary to the Committee on Worship and Liturgy that gave to the AMEC the Bicentennial Hymnal and the Book of Worship. He has been involved in the revision and compilation of The Doctrine and Discipline of the African Methodist Episcopal Church since 1980. In 1980, he became pastor of the First Baptist Church.
