Work is automatically allocated by the server to either the closest driver, or the driver who has been waiting the longest since their last job. When drivers bid for a job, the drivers who are slower with their PDA can sometimes get left behind. With Storm despatch , this problem is avoided and the driver who has been waiting the longest to get a job takes priority over a driver who has just had a job.
