What is Books for Change? Books for Change is a collection of books supporting young people through common situations and problems that may affect their health and happiness. Self-help titles give advice and information that can help you to feel better. The books are available from your local library. A book from the list may be recommended to you by someone because they think that it might help.
What to do next If you are a library member you can simply visit your local library and borrow a book. If you are not already a member, come in and join for free. If you are under 16 you will need your parent or guardian to sign your application form. However, you can still borrow two books right away. You will find Books for Change in the teen section. You can borrow a book for up to three weeks and you can renew the book, as long as nobody else is waiting for it. If the title you are after is not available, you can ask for it to be sent from another library free of charge. Once you have joined the library, you can use the self-issue machines to borrow and return books.
