MONDAy OcTOBER 31,

6pM - 8pM

HOT FOOD AND DRINK AVAILABLE

The annual Preston Park Halloween Walk will test the steeliest of nerves as intrepid ghost-hunters brave the journey round the hall and park grounds, where ghostly apparitions glide between trees and screeching vampires, howling werewolves, nasty bats and beasties prepare to pounce. Tickets cost just £4 each (free for under 5s) and include free transport from Stockton and Yarm Town Centres and from outside Stockton Garden Centre (formerly Peter Barratt’s), from 5.45pm - 8pm. Tickets are available from the Tourist Information Centre in the Shambles and are strictly limited. Tickets will be issued in two batches, with an early start for younger visitors and a later start for older visitors to reduce congestion round the Park. See the website at www.stockton.gov.uk/events or call (01642) 526733 for more information.

Health & Safety Information Visitors need to be aware that the grounds around the Park are uneven and lighting levels may vary, so appropriate footwear should be worn, and you may wish to bring along a small torch. Likewise appropriate clothing should be worn to reflect the time of year. Visitors are encouraged to wear their own costumes to enter into the “spirit” of the night and to add to the experience.
