British Wool at Domotex 2009 The environment and 100% natural carpet yarns will take centre stage for British Wool at Domotex 2009.
Showcasing ‘Shades of Nature’ – the latest British Wool yarn innovation presentation box at the event, the BWMB is bringing their successful 100% natural tufted carpet yarn collection to an even bigger audience.
“We have already had enormous interest in this collection of British breed and blended yarns. But we are seeing extraordinary level of interest from the international market, which has taken the environmental agenda on with force during the last eighteen months,” explained Richard Poole, European Business Manager at the BWMB. Richard explained, “This innovative tool is about enabling people to understand the potential of using a particular breed or type of wool to enhance their product range.
“We know the eco trend is gaining pace, particularly in the commercial sector and the importance of developing product to meet stringent buyer specifications that demand the product content and supply are verifiable and transparent to eco scrutiny, is being driven forward rapidly.
"Regulatory compliance is undoubtedly looming in the contract markets. By forging forward with our environmental agenda British Wool is not only responding to the marketing trend for the environment but also helping our licensees prepare for forthcoming regulatory change and ultimately achieve greater customer satisfaction.” British Wool can be found in Hall 5, stand F38. The stand operates as a mini business centre and always provides a useful meeting place. “We attend Domotex to promote British Wool and to support our licensees and textile industry partners that visit but do not exhibit. It is a very important gathering of the worldwide industry and we hope that the UK trade will make the effort to attend.”
