Stockholm Adventures is an outdoor activities’ company which offers guided, private-guided and self-guided tours, AR city games and courses in and around Stockholm. We believe we have something for everyone, all year around!
We create genuine and unforgettable experiences for groups, individuals and families who love exploration and adventure. In doing so, we put great emphasis on quality equipment, fresh and delicious food, outstanding hospitality and careful consideration for you and the environment every step of the way.

Our base, where many of our tours start and finish, is centrally located (less than 500m from Central Station in one direction, and less than 500m from City Hall in another) and has a small Adventure Café where you can get a coffee or juice and a snack pre/post tour.

We want to show you the best of our beloved city and the nature surrounding it because we want you to fall in love with it as much as we have. Quality, consistency and safety are of the utmost importance to us, so we use all our own equipment, which happens to be some of the best on the market (we are one of the few tour operators in Stockholm who can say that!) We strive always to exceed our guests’ expectations and are always looking for ways in which we can improve. We believe your holiday should be safe, fun, educational and of course, as environmentally friendly as possible!
We aim to be a leader in responsible and sustainable tourism. There are many ways that we minimise our impact and contribute to the communities we operate in, including buying locally and ecologically, making sure many of our tours change location/route regularly so as not to leave a negative footprint on the nature, and we always clear up prior to and after every tour to ensure we leave a positive impact where we can.
We have a fantastic team of incredibly talented, experienced and knowledgeable guides who are dedicated to making your tours totally fantastic and completely unforgettable! On every tour we aim to give you a fun, unique and local perspective of the city.
We feel that there is a lot more to providing an adventure than just possessing the basic skills. Our guides all come to Stockholm Adventures with varied experiences and qualifications and we enable them to broaden their knowledge and skillset so as to further their evolution. Each year we have a series of training sessions that include everything from natural and cultural history to practicing techniques and safety procedures.
Stockholm ICEguide AB began its operations in 2007, driven by people who have many years’ experience within the ecotourism and adventure travel industries, both in Sweden and around the world.
In March 2015 ‘Stockholm ‘ICEguide AB’ bought ‘Stockholm Adventures’ and moved all operations to Kungsbro Strand in the central part of Stockholm. We believe this union of ICEguide AB (winter activities) and Stockholm Adventures (summer activities) to be a perfect match; providing exciting tours and activities all year around!
Our tours are fully inclusive; meaning we provide:
• All the necessary gear and safety equipment;
• Friendly and experienced guides / all information needed for the self-guided tours;
• Meals and/or snack when the tour lasts more than 3 hours (We believe that great experiences should come together with great food!);
• Transportation to/from the activity start, should the tour require it / detailed instructions how to get there for the self guided tours
Stockholm Adventures is approved to prepare meals, therefore, our ‘Classic Outdoor Lunch/Meal’ and our ‘Traditional Swedish Midsummer Meal’ are lovingly prepared with fresh locally produced ecological ingredients at our Adventure Café by one of our team. All other delicious meals provided are catered off site either by ourselves or by our partners.
If you book a tour that includes food, please advise us of any dietary requirements, preferences, medical necessities or dislikes. Happy guests are really important to us, so please provide us with any information we need so that we can achieve that!

For those of you with previous experience of ice skating either on natural ice, ovals, rinks, inline skating or cross-country skiing “skating style”, this is the perfect winter day tour for you!
Your experienced guide will brief you on the tour and safety equipment before taking you to the day’s best ice in Stockholm’s outstandingly beautiful natural surroundings. This tour will focus on fine tuning your ice skating techniques and covering some distance. Depending on the weather and ice conditions your group could cover up to 70km during the day.
We plan every ice skating tour carefully with our expert local knowledge and the most up to date ice reports to ensure we skate on the best natural ice for the day. If you have experience ice skating and you absolutely love it, then join us on our 3 Day Swedish Skating Adventure! We will skate on the best natural ice each day; in an area of approximately 350 km around Stockholm. Within this area are 3 of Europe’s 5 largest lakes (Vänern, Vättern and Mälaren) and Stockholm’s archipelago in the Baltic sea.
You will be split into 3 sub groups, each with a guide, so that you are skating alongside people of a similar ability and with similar expectations. Depending on the weather, ice conditions and the skills of your sub group, you will cover anything between 20 and 80 km per day. Whilst out touring you will stay in first class country style hotels and guesthouses which are high in quality, charm and character, and also often have a sauna.
Thursday is an arrival day, with the ice skating starting on Friday morning and ending on Sunday afternoon. Please do not book flights departing before 19:00 on Sunday. You should have ice skating experience to join this tour.

This adventure will take you into Stockholm’s back country where you can enjoy being immersed in a Swedish winter wonderland! Snowshoe over frozen lakes, through snowy pine forests and enjoy being amongst the nature in this fairytale winter wonderland.
Once you have geared up and met your guide and group, you will head out of the city and into the forest on your adventure. The wintery landscape is beautiful, and wild animals are never far away. Your guide will help you find footprints in the snow which will be fun to identify, and if you’re lucky you may even see some cute furry faces looking out at you from behind the trees! Our guides are all locals and throughout the tour will offer you insights into local customs, history, culture and lifestyle.

Stockholm is lovingly known as "The Venice of the North" due to it being situated over 14 islands and linked by 57 bridges. Exploring by kayak is a great way to see the city and there is nothing quite like having the waterways to yourself. During autumn and winter, when the water is cold but not frozen and busy with ice skaters, the waterways are left quiet and peaceful which is just perfect for an invigorating paddle!
Our Kayak Dock is located in the heart of the city, just 400m from our Adventure Café, so we start our tour in a prime location. All our kayak guides are local, qualified and experienced, so they will run through basic paddling techniques and safety information with you before you set off on your adventure. Our kayaking tours have an easy tempo to suit all abilities; many persons who paddle with us have no previous experience.

This is a great introduction to a great city! By the time you’re finished you’ll feel well informed and well oriented, which will help you make the most of your time here!
This bike tour will pass by popular sights such as City Hall, Riddarholmen Church, The Royal Palace, Gamla Stan (The Old Town), and The Vasa, but you will also discover some of the city’s hidden jewels, such as Djurgården, the 1st National City Park in the world! Swedes love to ride their bikes, so let’s do like the Swedes and ride around the funky neighbourhood of SoFo! It’s steeped in history, has a vast array of beautiful architecture and is bursting with quirky cafes, bohemian shops and vintage boutiques! It's got a fantastic energy about it and there's something intriguing to catch your eye wherever you look! It’s also full of hills, so there’s no better way to explore this island than by E Bike!
Södermalm was voted the ‘coolest’ neighbourhood in Europe by Vogue Magazine back in 2014, and anyone who visits will agree; it certainly does not lack character or charm! It also has some of the best views over the city, so, make sure to bring your camera!

A Segway tour through Stockholm is an exciting and fun way to see more of Stockholm than you would do by foot. Don’t worry if you’ve never been on a Segway before, you’ll get the hang of it in no time!
Before enjoying the sights of Stockholm, your guide will instruct you on operating your Segway, run through some safety guidelines and help you to feel comfortable riding There will be time to run through some training exercises and practice, so that you're feeling confident on your Segway before setting off.
You will then glide through the streets of Stockholm with ease; drawing lots of attention, laughter and smiles from passers by, as you pass through Gamla Stan (The Old Town) and The Royal Palace, amongst many other must see sights. In Stockholm, as is always the case in Sweden, nature is never far away. Just beyond the city limits are extensive lush forests and plenty of farming and agricultural land that are inhabited by a vast array of wildlife. Here, Moose, Deer, Foxes, Hares and Wild Boar roam undisturbed. Our Wildlife Safari runs during dusk, which is an optimal time to go in search of animals, and in particular, the “Kings of the Forest” (Moose) who usually roam at sundown to graze and search for water.
Once out of the city, get to know your safari companions and enjoy a traditional Swedish Midsummer meal at an outdoor camp. Your knowledgeable guide will take this time to explain more about the habitat surrounding you, and the animals that inhabit it. You will then navigate through rural landscapes characterised by traditional red cottages, classic manor houses, majestic forests and historical rune stones from the Viking age, searching for wildlife. We do so by van so as to cover a greater distance and increase your chances of spotting wildlife, we usually see at least 3 out of 5 of the animals mentioned, if not all 5! Join us for either a fun few hours of ICE during the day or a fun evening of FIRE and ICE! Combine the thrill of ice skating on natural ice and the fun of following a track lit by fire! Bring your family, friends and work colleagues with you for this unique experience.

PRIVATE STOCKHOLM FAMILY BIKE TOUR 2 HoursJust moments out of the city the archipelago begins, with almost 30,000 islands it’s one of the most unique areas in Europe. It offers an abundance of spectacular scenery, wildlife and serenity. Perfect for exploration by foot.
You’ll hike through forest, over rocky outcrops, along beaches and past lakes. You’ll get to see pretty harbours, traditional red wooden houses and homesteads, and hopefully plenty of wildlife. Moose, Roe Deer, Fallow Deer and Red Foxes live on the larger islands and during the summer months they swim between them. White tailed/Sea eagles, Canadian Geese, Eider, Loons, Arctic Terns, Ospreys, Great Cormorants and other migratory birds can be seen all summer out in the archipelago. The flora and fauna in the archipelago is astonishing!
During the summer months the days are long, the sun is warm, and the Baltic Sea is inviting! We will make sure to stop in the sunniest and most sheltered area for lunch, where you are welcome to swim and sunbathe should you wish.
It is also possible to visit a sauna, so let us know what you enjoy, or if you have any special requests, and we will tailor the itinerary to suit you.

A Segway tour through Stockholm is an exciting and fun way to see more of Stockholm than you would by foot. Don’t worry if you’ve never been on a Segway before, you’ll get the hang of it in no time!
Before enjoying the sights of Stockholm, your guide will instruct you on operating your Segway, run through some safety guidelines and help you to feel comfortable riding. There will be time to run through some training exercises and practice, so that you're feeling confident on your Segway before setting off.
You will then glide through the streets of Stockholm with ease; drawing lots of attention, laughter and smiles from passers by. The itinerary is up to you. Spend an evening in Stockholm’s beautiful forest where you’ll have the chance to meet the “other” locals our resident wildlife!
In Stockholm, as is always the case in Sweden, nature is never far away. Just beyond the city limits are extensive lush forests and plenty of farming and agricultural land that are inhabited by a vast array of wildlife. Here, Moose, Deer, Foxes, Hares and Wild Boar roam undisturbed. Our Wildlife Safari runs during dusk, which is an optimal time to go in search of animals, and in particular, the “Kings of the Forest” (Moose) who usually roam at sundown to graze and search for water.
Shortly after meeting your guide you will head out of the city and into one of Stockholm’s most wildlife rich areas. Once out in the nature and before starting the safari proper, you will enjoy a traditional Swedish Midsummer meal at an outdoor camp. Your knowledgeable guide will take this time to explain more about the habitat surrounding you, and the animals that inhabit it.
You will then navigate through rural landscapes characterised by traditional red cottages, classic manor houses, majestic forests and historical rune stones from the Viking age, searching for wildlife. We try to cover as greater distance as possible to increase your chances of spotting wildlife, we usually see at least 3 out of 5 of the animals mentioned, if not all 5! Once the sun has set you will return to the city.

This is a digital GPS based Augmented Reality (AR) outdoor game where your aim is to solve different tasks that are visible when you are in a certain GPS position. You will get an iPad with AR function and an Action Pack spy bag with lots of cool gadgets that you will need to solve the riddles.
Since the beginning of time, there has been magic portals that connect our world with a fantastic parallel world. Portal guardians make sure that the gates are well secured Unfortunately, one of the portal guards has been put into a magical deep sleep and now evil creatures are streaming into our world. Solve puzzles in enchanted places and collect enough crystals to re seal the Magic Portal and save our world from destruction.

Our Adventure Café is located 500m from the Bus /Train Station (Central Station /CityTerminalen) and the Metro Station (T Centralen). All Metro, Overland Trains and Airport Shuttles stop at Central Station. If you’re coming from the station:
Follow signs for/take the exit to ‘Stockholm C/CityTerminalen’. Walk over the bridge on Klarabergsviaduken, keeping to the right side of the road. Go down the stairs on your right. Continue along the canal and you will find us on your left! Failing that, Google us!
