Patient Care Services (PCS) Strategic Plan 2012 cascaded from the Big Five: • Workflow design and Epic clinical tools development • Training of certified trainers (CTs), super users and direct care providers • Establish training for new hires and students • Contribute to post IQ4 Go-Live optimization

• Add travelers during IQ4 Go-Live to ensure adequate resources for patient care while staff are adding new skills with the electronic health record • Reduce travelers within 30 – 60 days of IQ4 Go-Live • Reduce end-of-shift overtime • Add patient care techs to the resource pool for 1:1 sitter coverage
