Arts and crafts Open Woodshop

Lenox Community Center Woodshop, 6715 Minnetonka Blvd. Whether you are a beginner or advanced craftsperson, the woodshop has a variety of power and hand tools for you to use. Beginning Crochet

Lenox Community Center Room 115, 6715 Minnetonka Blvd. Whether you are a beginner or someone who learned to crochet once-upon-a-time and has forgotten how, this class is for you! We start at the beginning, looking at tools and materials and learn to make chain, slip stitch, single crochet and double crochet stitches, as well as read patterns and follow diagrams. You will complete a dishcloth, scarf, granny square and small stuffed toy as part of class assignments. A welcome letter with a supply list will be sent at registration. Instructor: Judy Goebel

Trips "The Music Man" at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater

Lenox Community Center Lounge Room, 6715 Minnetonka Blvd. Enjoy a delicious meal once we arrive at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater, then watch a matinee performance of Meredith Wilson's "The Music Man." This musical theater classic follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize. Hill’s plans to skip town with the cashier foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall.

LIFETIME LEARNING Magic Illusions and Balloon Twisting

Lenox Community Center Card Room, 6715 Minnetonka Blvd. This exciting class will include easy to learn magic illusions and the popular art of balloon twisting of animals and hats.
