Metro Dining Club cards Good news, the Metro Dining Club cards are here! The senior program is selling the cards once again, but with a different procedure than before as the coronavirus pandemic has forced the temporary closure of the Lenox Community Center. Call Toni Nelson at 952.928.6443 and leave a message with your phone number and order, and she will return your call with more information. Two different sets of cards are available, one for the Minneapolis/west metro area and the other for Anoka/northwest. Each set is $25 with 138 area restaurants to choose from and are good now through May 2021. Proceeds go to the senior program.
Lenox Caring Cards Club As we do our part to “Stay Safe Minnesota," the Lenox Community Center staff has created an opportunity to meet a need in our community. Many adult seniors living in skilled care facilities are experiencing loneliness in this time of isolation. The Lenox Caring Cards Club is a way to connect them with someone who is willing to write them a cheerful note to help lift their spirits. If you would like to participate or have questions, contact Toni Nelson at nelson.toni@slpschools.org or 952.928.6443. Minneapolis Pops Orchestra We are very excited to announce our first-ever digital concert season! We will be publishing new videos featuring the wonderful musicians of the orchestra. The videos are freely accessible to the public at mplspops.org/minneapolis-popsorchestra-digital-season.
