The St Joseph’s College National Schools Rugby Festival started in 1986 to commemorate the school’s Golden Jubilee. Schools invited to take part came from both the state and independent sectors. The Festival has grown from strength to strength. Our main pitches are professionally live streamed and all matches can be watched worldwide. Last year’s viewing figures topped 50,000. Many professional rugby players have competed in the Festival, including: Chris Robshaw, Anthony Allen, Mako Vunipola, Jonathan Joseph, Tom Penny Levi Davis, Christian Wade and Mike Tindall. St Joseph’s College has also had a huge number of students go on to become professional rugby players.
