AMERICANA ‘18 ——
Join us as we celebrate the centenary of the great American composer Leonard Bernstein with a year-long festival of music from across the pond. We focus our celebrations on Independence Day (4 July) with a packed day of treats and musical fireworks plus a chance for you to participate in Terry Riley’s In C and sing a selection of American choral classics with David Wordsworth and the Addison Singers. Don’t miss our Composer Portraits with concerts featuring exclusively the music of William Bolcom, George Crumb, and Irving Fine. There are many opportunities for you to get involved with workshops and Come & Sing events, including Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms.
