Reunion Weekend at the Prep Prep alumni were back on campus from May 16 to 18 for an action-packed reunion weekend. Events included everything from a golf tournament and family BBQ to the presentation of the Distinguished Alumnus Award and the Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. It was all part of Reunion Reimagined, which brought alumni back to campus during Commencement Weekend, the most exciting and celebratory time of the year.

Inspiring Creativity. The newest art installation on campus, “Full Cycle” is a striking welded steel sculpture by TJ Sadowski ’11. Installed in front of the Ryken Center for the Arts where TJ spent many fruitful hours, it was unveiled during the Reunion and Commencement Weekend festivities. TJ created it to inspire students to explore their creative power, as he did at St. John’s. Based on principles of asymmetrical balance, it draws the viewer’s eye in a simple movement as the pieces each recede and return in space. “I owe so much to St. John’s,” he said. “I need to give back to the place that fostered my creativity so well, and this is the best way I know how.” Pictured: Art teacher Harriet Malone, TJ Sadowski ’11, and Headmaster Hardiman at the unveiling of the sculpture TJ created for St. John’s.
