Coach Molloy graduated from St. John’s in 1994. During his time on the varsity at St. John’s, Coach Molloy was both a starting tight end and a starting quarterback. As a quarterback, he earned allconference honors his senior season. Coach Molloy also played on the varsity basketball team while attending St. John’s. He then played tight end for the Virginia Military Institute, where again he earned all-conference honors. He is in his seventh season on the St. John’s staff. Coach Molloy teaches at St. Jane DeChantal in Bethesda, Md. He lives in Silver Spring, Md., with his wife Gretchen. His father, James Molloy, is a 1958 graduate of St. John’s.

Varsity Defensive Line Coach Seasons Coaching at St. John’s: 2 High School: St. John’s (DC) College: Brown University
Coach Burlin was a two-time first-team all-conference player and a two-year captain at St. John’s, where he also won the Mush Dubofsky Award (given to the player who has made the greatest contribution to SJC football during his high school career) as a senior. A graduate in the Class of 2002, he went on to have a stellar career on the defensive line at Brown University, where his 2005 team won the Ivy League and finished 9-1. A three-year starter at defensive tackle, he won the Frederick “Fritz” Pollard Award as a senior. In returning to St. John’s, Coach Burlin was reunited with Coach Patterson, who coached him on the freshman team in 1998, and Coach Ward, who coached him at the varsity level.
