Dear Business: The Wahoo Alumni Basketball & Volleyball Tournaments will be held the weekend of March 19-20, 2010. The Friday night events will include basketball and volleyball games as well as an informal social gathering. The basketball and volleyball tournaments will conclude on Saturday with the night being finished off with a buffet and social. The alumni weekend has been a huge success in years past and we would again like to provide an enjoyable weekend for the alumni and to contribute to the continued successes of Wahoo Warrior athletics. This past year we had over 200 people participate in the various activities. The money raised during the weekend is donated to the Wahoo Warrior athletic programs. This past year we donated the funds to assist in projects such as the purchasing of wrestling uniforms and rain gear for the golf team. Cash donations help to cover the initial expenses for the alumni weekend and are also donated directly back to the athletic programs. Some of you may prefer to donate gift certificates, coupons or merchandise redeemable at your business. These types of gifts will be included in our auction and raffle, which help to raise additional funds. We would appreciate any type of support you may give.
