“Batteries and energy storage are the core of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. - Klaus Schwab, Founder, Davos World Economic Forum

4

VISION Become North America’s first vertically integrated producer of vanadium & vanadium electrolytes for the energy storage industry.

Vanadium is a strategic metal used in the production of high-quality metal alloys. Its most common uses are in high strength steel, in the aerospace industry, and chemical uses for the production of catalysts, ceramics, glasses and pigments, electronics and batteries.

5

VANADIUM No North American mines in production. 95% of production comes from China, South Africa & Russia

Steel Industry accounts for 90% of Vanadium consumption. Increasing use as an electrolyte in redox flow batteries for energy storage Vanadium Products FeV – iron-vanadium alloy V2O5 – vanadium pentoxide

China produces 58% of global supply, mostly as co-product from steel mills Vanadium doesn’t trade on the open market or a metal exchange. Prices governed by sales agents. Current price U.S. $9/lb, 10yr $2.8 - $17.5/lb

Vanadium commonly occurs in complex mineral associations and fossil fuel deposits. It is less often found in pure form, and is often a byproduct of mining for uranium & other minerals. Vanadium has unique properties applicable for electrical storage

PURE VANADIUM PLAY Large high grade vanadium deposit in Nevada Combined Bisoni McKay Resource & Bisoni-Rio Prospect •

NI 43-101 (2016) Indicated Resources estimated at 11,879,590 tons at an average grade of 0.39% V2O5 and Inferred Resources estimated at 7,048,056 tons at an average grade of 0.42% V2O5

•

Open at depth, known to extend to the North and South, and at least 300 feet true thickness in depth with 2,000 feet strike length

12

BISONI-MCKAY PROPERTY • Past exploration by Union Carbide (1950s), Hecla Mining (1970s) and Noranda (1980s) • Contains significant vanadium carbonaceous resources that allow for high level of vanadium electrolyte purity • Supergene enrichment zone of up to 35 feet width identified immediately below Redox zone, revealing anomalous grade surges of 50% to 150% • Continuity of mineralization confirmed in past exploration drilling campaigns • Close to surface; open-pittable; examining modern extraction methods

13

FUTURE PLANS FOR BMK • RC drilling to convert the Indicated & Inferred resources to Measured resources • Delineation of the supergene enrichment zone (past drilling indicates this zone presents significant grade surges) • Past exploration at BMK identified a fold adjacent to the west fault. Several past drill holes oriented East-West terminated in mineralization. Future drill holes will be extended further to the West to define the bottom of mineralization. Also, given that only the eastern limb of the fold was penetrated, a few holes will target the limits on the western limb of the fold. • Hazen Research to conduct a metallurgical test on carbonaceous shale, which hosts the largest tonnage of resources reporting the highest grade at BMK. The objective of the test is to optimize the extraction of vanadium from this material to produce vanadium electrolyte to be tested on vanadium flow batteries

14

BISONI-RIO PROSPECT • Located 5 km north from Bisoni McKay • 3,360 acres of prospective ground • Past trench exploration suggests mineralization is an extension of Bisoni McKay ore body • Adjacent to Gibellini Project which has a resource of 131 million lbs V2O5 (NI 43-101, 2011) • No drilling to date but there is evidence of past prospecting activity in the form of trenches and shallow pits. Believed to be an extension to the North of the mineralization at BMK. Bulk of Stina's future exploration drilling will be on the Bisoni Rio prospect and will be focussed initially on the delineation of Inferred resources

15

STINA’S TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS Collaboration With Pacific Northwest National Labs • Stina Resources’ collaboration with PNNL focuses on vanadium electrolyte development • Part of US Dept of Energy, founded in 1965 • Leading developer of RFB technology • 4000 scientists and researchers • $1 billion in annual R&D expenditures

16

EXPANDING VANADIUM STRATEGY Acquisition of Pure Vanadium Corp. • Signed LOI to acquire Pure Vanadium Corp (“Pure”), a technology company involved in development of vanadium electrolytes for vanadium redox flow batteries used in grid-scale energy storage • Grid-scale vanadium redox flow battery installations are increasing globally, and access to high quality vanadium for vanadium electrolyte is a key driver of this technology • Pure holds certain license agreements with Battelle Memorial Institute to produce, use and sell vanadium electrolytes developed by the Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory • Pure’s Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Alex Starosud, holds a dozen patents and has published over 100 papers. He was given the title of Captain and worked on several strategic technologies during his time in the U.S.S.R. including water flood and fracture-leach processes. Pure is investigating the possibility of utilizing these processes with new chemical formulations for the economical and less evasive method of in-situ vanadium electrolyte production

17

STINA’S TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS University of Calgary • Stina Resources is working with Dr. Edward Roberts of the University of Calgary to construct Redox Flow Batteries and to determine optimum parameters for the vanadium electrolyte used therein that will be derived from the vanadium mined from Stina's Bisoni McKay's vanadium property in Nevada • Dr. Edward Roberts is an internationally recognized expert and innovator in the field of electrochemical technology • His work has been recognized through several international awards for innovation (the IChemE Water Innovation Award, the IET Innovation Award and the ACES European Academic Enterprise Award). He is the holder of 22 granted patents, has a further 20 patent applications pending and has published more than 75 papers in international journals • Dr Roberts' research group is exploring the use of new large scale energy storage technologies. Electrode materials for redox flow batteries are being developed in collaboration with other researchers. The goal is to develop low cost, vanadium redox flow battery systems that are able to operate efficiently at high current densities, improving the economic viability of the technology. These systems are being developed for large scale energy storage and the integration of renewable electricity generation
