Genomic testing with ST and Vision+ has allowed us to fast track our breeding goals by being able to identify animals with a higher genetic value and joining them to sexed semen and joining our lower ranked animals to beef.

We have found that we are saving money by reducing our rearing costs as we are now only rearing heifers that are suitable herd replacements.

The data provided can be daunting when starting out but with support from the ST staff, we have been able to make informed decisions about our future breeding program and have been made aware of options we had never considered.
