Floral Group Silk Sessions Wednesdays, 9:30 am-11 am Help us design beautiful floral pieces for the Fall Bazaar. Join our wonderful group of ladies in fantastic floral adventures each week. We will be making wreaths, fall creations, door décor, and other seasonal floral crafts. If you enjoyed the Floral Show and want to learn this craft we’ll be happy to have you in our Floral Group. Necklace Design Thursdays, 9:30 am -11 am Design gorgeous necklaces in this new class. We concentrate on making ladder yarn necklaces with a few surprises thrown in throughout the month. Ladder yarn necklaces are simple to assemble with no crocheting needed. Participants are encouraged to make an additional necklace to sell at the Harvest Bazaar. Small handwork is involved. Seeking Contributions to Chesterfield Arts Center’s Yarn Bomb Project Be a part of the Chesterfield Arts Community by contributing to Yarn Bomb! What is Yarn Bombing? It is a surprise covering of trees, railings, and public spaces with knitted cozies. Friendship Village residents have the opportunity to participate in this large art project. Our pieces will be added to others to create a temporary installation in an undisclosed location in Chesterfield. Yarn “squares” can be knitted or crocheted approximately 9 by 7 inches. You choose the color and pattern. As you finish your yarn works, please bring them to Beth in the Creative Arts Studio. We will be visiting the Yarn Bombing Project in September. After the event, the pieces will be made into blankets for charity. 05
