In
2021, Steward Speakers launched our Education Initiative enhancing our partnerships with colleges and universities by intentionally advocating for racially conscious policies, practices and learnings to embrace the growing needs of black and brown students; and combat the widening gaps in college matriculation, persistence and graduation rates between black and brown students and their white peers.
It is our goal that all students see themselves reflected in their education and have opportunities to apply practical initiatives to effectively make positive change in their communities.
This speaker season, Steward Speakers will recognize the impact of leaders in our community who have championed creating spaces and platform that support equity and access to education for our students.
