Patterson’s

Welcome to the 2014 edition of Patterson Post. This is our family Christmas newsletter. We do this instead of Christmas cards. I hope you enjoy this edition of Patterson Post, Amber is now in the 11th grade. She is very active in church and helps with the children at church. It is hard to believe that she will be 17 in April. She grows up so fast. She is enjoying her Agriculture class. She comes home talking about what she learned, stuff that would normally gross out most of her classmates, she says is fasinating her. Steve (pictured to the right, taken this Fall 2014) is doing graphic design and still working on his bachelors in Theology at Andersonville Theological Seminary and passing the classes he has submited for grade already. Keep in prayers as he has a long road to finish. He is also actively helping the youth and van ministry at church.

Steve is also still maintaining his Christian blog: Courageous Christian Father. 2014 has been some breaking page views! Please take a moment and visit and also share with other people your favorite post and also the link! One of those big steps forward in Steve’s blog ministry was also being able to review books, movies and even attactions. Steve got to visit the Titanic Museum, Hollywood Wax Museum, Biblical Times Dinner Theater, The Wilderness, Kentucky Splash, Wonder Works and many more places. You can review all those reviews and more at courageouschristianfather.com. I plan to do a different type of theme each year with Patterson Post. So if you have a theme idea, let me know. In 2012, I did a recipe guide, last year I did a song book. You can download past issues at tinyurl.com/pattersonpostnewsletter Thanks for reading!

Family Christ mas Prayer I think about my family, my relatives, the neighbors, people with whom we will spend this day. Dear Jesus, as I look at their faces and remember their stories, there are feelings of gratitude and some fear and anxiety. Thank you for these loved ones and please forgive me for the ways I have been less than accepting and loving. Please heal the wounds, division and conflicts that stand between us and help me to remember how dearly you love them. I only want to remember that you have come to save us all.

A Prayer of Salvation Lord Jesus,

I have sinned against you. I believe you died on the cross for my sins and that you rose again. I repent (turn) from my sins and trust you alone to forgive me of my sins. Amen

The above comic is part of the Way of the Master ministry and it is free to resuse.
