Safety First Glass is a dominant building material in many new dealerships. While floor to ceiling glass has a contemporary appeal and conveys a sense of spaciousness, it can also be a safety concern. In order to ensure that customers can distinguish a glass wall from an open space, Valley Wide Signs recommends using frosted vinyl safety stripes placed waist high on glass doors and walls. This subtle logo use will also reinforce the Toyota /Scion brand. Valley Wide Signs & Graphics developed safety wording on employee entrances to reflect a more positive, professional message than simply saying, “Employees Only – Keep Out.” Information and Direction Capitalizing on the Toyota and Scion brand colors of red and black, Valley Wide Signs created a series of unobtrusive signs that complement the building’s clean, spacious interior while providing customers with the information and wayfinding directions they need. Going Green? Are you building an environmentally friendly facility that conforms to the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards? Sixteen unobtrusive, 4” x 6” curved glass signs were placed strategically throughout the facility that briefly describe the efforts undertaken to create a sustainable, energy efficient building.
