Come and marvel at the Brewery Arts Centre, you can have an amazing cake and on the same day take home a hand made vase which you saw being made. Cirencester is a Roman town which was originally called Corinium and it has a museum full of Roman artifacts.
In the Corinium museum visitors can trace the story of the Cotswold’s from Prehistory to the late 19th Century, with hands-on exhibits, interactive displays and a wealth of precious artifacts. The town’s Roman heritage is important in Cirencester as it was the second most important Roman town outside London. In the museum in Cirencester the Roman collection is now spread over two floors and includes marvelous mosaics, tantalizing tombstones as well as a super shop which exhibits objects from everyday Roman life. The Brewery Arts Centre is amazing. It has an amazing gallery, workshops, cafe and glass blowing facility where you can watch where they make vases.
The historic church is in the middle of town. Inside is a newly refurbished lay out with new floor tiles and new under floor heating.
