North Carolina National Guard Integrated Behavioral Health System The NCNG Integrated Behavioral Health System (IBHS) is driven by a team of contracted, qualified, licensed therapists and behavioral health case managers. The IBHS is dedicated to helping NCNG Servicemembers and their Families by assessing for immediate behavioral health needs and performing crisis intervention on a twentyfour hour basis. The IBHS also offers connection and professional case management services to internal NCNG resources as well as to federal, state, and community resources for both clinical and non-clinical needs. Needs include but are not limited to: outpatient mental health treatment, psychiatric and substance abuse hospitalization, partial hospitalization, IOP, residential treatment, PTSD and TBI screening, housing, food, utility and mortgage relief, emergency funds, employment, and assistance with entitlement and insurance enrollment. The IBHS clinical staff are regionally located throughout the state and housed in NCNG armories and Family Assistance Centers so that access to care for our Servicemembers and their Families is maximized. The IBHS abides by rules and regulations of DoDI 6490.08 and state and federal statutes concerning ethics and confidentiality. The IBHS is professionally staffed, voluntary, and free.
