Nationally Renowned Residential Home Designer Comes to the Aid of Churches Norcross, Georgia, September 27, 2012—Stephen Fuller of Stephen Fuller Designs, an Atlanta, Georgia based residential home design firm has teamed up with the Hero Foundation Inc., a local not-forprofit organization, as Creative Director of it’s new, “Building Blessings” program to assist churches who are in distress. Building Blessings is designed to partner with young, vibrant churches that are constrained by financial resources and help them design and build facilities to better serve their communities. Just as Habitat for Humanity builds houses so that families can grow, we will build buildings so that churches can grow. “But there is a kind of Disaster Relief needed in our own backyards,” said Stephen. “There are hundreds of churches who do so much for our communities, while they are desperately in need themselves. The church has always been the pillar which holds many communities together. Many churches are where people can go when they are in need of food, clothes and shelter. It is a disaster when churches don’t have the resources needed to continuing helping those in our communities who are in need.” said Stephen Fuller. He said, “In the bible, there is a great story of a man named Nehemiah. Nehemiah was a common man in a unique position. After hearing about the sad state of affairs in Judah, Nehemiah acquired the king’s permission to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the city and its fortifications. There are churches foreclosing around us and many are falling apart structurally.
