Beef Cookoff: Each state or state group may be represented by a maximum of two teams. Each team must include one Prospector (12 and under). A team may be composed of members of more than one state only if they are unable to fulfill the above mentioned requirements. Career Development: Pick from one of the provided job descriptions available with the contest rules. Poster Contest: Limited to two posters per exhibitor Showmanship: If you plan to participate in showmanship you must sign-up online during entry. Showmanship heats will be broken before arriving to the junior national based on sign-up during entry. Ages will be randomized within the age divisions.

Contest Age Divisions as of Jan. 1, 2022: Prospector I: 5-9 || Prospector II: 10-12 || Intermediate: 13-16 || Senior: 17-21 *Exhibitors must be 7 to exhibit cattle or compete in showmanship*
