Congratulations to the New National Lassie Queen

The National Shorthorn Lassies would like to introduce the National Shorthorn Lassie Queen, Paige Wickard of Wilkinson, Indiana. Paige is the daughter of David and Leslie Wickard and represents the Indiana Shorthorn Lassies.

Paige is a nursing student at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. She hopes to give back to her community as a nurse and continue her education to become a nurse practitioner.

Paige has been an AJSA member for 12 years and hopes to continue her involvement in the Shorthorn breed through her family. She has a strong belief that the road to success in life is to be involved in an activity that builds character through responsibility, teamwork, hard work and sometimes disappointment.
