One of the benefits of being a Registered Angus breeder is having the ability to meet new friends and build relationships along the way with some of the finest people in this country, and we are proud to be considered a part of this group! Welcome to the 2024 “It’s BIG Time Sale”. Richie and Kelly Longanecker have assembled a tremendous set of genetics. I truly appreciate the passion that they have for breeding and raising genetics that are cutting edge and truly special in every form. They are true stewards of the industry. Getting into the offering, we lead this year’s sale with a great daughter of Salvation out of the T276 cow. This former P&G heifer has done it all right so far and is one exciting young donor in the breed with a unique EPD profile, super-attractive look, and is from a powerful cow family. Also selling a daughter and a son out of her by Winchester. The Lot 2 female is one of the brightest young stars at Big Timber, she has thrived in Florida and some lucky bidder will join Richie in exploring her exhilarating future. The Lot 3 cow is packing the mail, not only has she produced two progeny north of +400 $C, she makes them right. Lot 4 has been a standout at Big Timber the last 3 years, she makes big-numbered progeny – period. Others in the sale that peak my interest are Lots 5*, 6B*, 6D, 7, 9, 11* and several of the pregs, embryo, and semen lots.
