An art center to emphasize social networking, enhance the connection between artwork and the user through interaction, and increase creativity and education for all users. Focus areas includes spaces for dining and lounge, gallery with innovative networking technology, public and private studios, a communal lecture space for informative and educational purposes, and collaborative administrative offices.
ISSUES NINA TORRES Founder and owner of Nina Torres Fine Art Gallery as well as the Miami River Art Fair that takes place during Art Basel. Nina is also a well-known international exhibition coordinator. During her career, Nina she has introduced art and cultural programs for several organizations. Because the art community primarily interacts with each other only during Art Basel, Nina would like to bring the community a center place: to learn, create, and experience.

Volumetric Massing
Four distinct volumetric masses make up the building. Each massing ceiling height varies depending on the interior location of the building. After analyzing the drawing great consideration must be put into developing the spaces within the building; each areas function must be chosen carefully due to the ceiling heights and masses.

To create a pod city, an environment within and environment. The goal was to create interior urban landscapes consisting of nonpermanent, sustainable, and adaptable structures that can be disassembled and shipped to a new Heifer location around the world.

FACET CAFE The Cafe will act as a communal space on the second floor; to facet the employees and guests together in one setting. Materials such as gunmetal fire clay, reclaimed barn-wood and OLED lights give the cafe a sustainable urban feel.

collaboration Inspired by the metamorphosis of off-price retailers. This experience of bargain shopping originated from flea markets, allowing people in the community to come together and exchange goods. Conceptually, treating Marshalls as a modern bazaar rather than a traditional department store allows opportunity to bring back the essence of bargain shopping, celebrating the “thrill of the hunt.�
MARSHALLS
The Marshall’s Bazaar is a way that the company can reach out to the local community by using the concept of the modern and vintage bazaar. This bazaar would be located in the park meaning to bring in customers who would usually not shop at Marshalls regularly.
