Welcome to the 10th Anniversary of Step Afrika!’s

Magical Musical

Holiday Step Show December 9-19, 2021 stepafrika.org

Dear Friends, Welcome to the 10th Annual Step Afrika!’s

Magical Musical Holiday Step Show After more than a year away from the stage, we are excited to perform live and bring this joyous annual tradition back to the Atlas. The return of the Holiday Show marks the first of many live performances to continue in 2022. Step Afrika! will hit the road with a national tour of our latest production, Drumfolk, with local stops at Strathmore and Arena Stage. Our artists will travel to Poland and Bolivia for international exchange projects and engage more than 20,000 DC-area students with our enriching arts education programs. And after a two-year hiatus, our annual Summer Steps with Step Afrika! camp will return in August to train a new crop of young people in the art form of stepping. Step Afrika! never tires in serving the community, and we are glad to have you with us! Our company of talented artists created this year’s Holiday Show with the hope that you will sing, dance, shout, and step with Step Afrika! throughout the entire performance. Please…feel free!! They are joined by the great DJ Nutcracker, who is sure to have you on the floor with The Nutcracker Slide. And please don’t forget to take a picture with our furry friends from the Arctic Circle. It just wouldn’t be a Step Afrika! Holiday Show without them. Thank you so much for choosing to share your holidays with us. We wish you a joyful holiday season filled with all of your favorite things.

Best wishes, C. Brian Williams Founder & Executive Producer P.S. Next, Step Afrika! returns to the DMV in March 2022 with Drumfolk at Strathmore. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to get all the details. You don’t want to miss this performance!
