The usual cornerstone ceremony is one that we associate with new ventures, untried ideas, and a group of people who want to give those ideas a chance and have a real vision. When the first cornerstone was put in this building, that was exactly the kind of gathering it was. … It is striking how many parallels there are with the cornerstone that we will be placing today.
