Bringing Holiday Happiness to SickKids

In the spirit of the holiday season this past December, StateView Homes proudly held our first annual Sick Kids Toy Drive, a heartwarming charity event aimed at bringing joy to children courageously fighting illnesses. The Toy Drive, fueled by generous donations from staff, trades, and suppliers, gathered hundreds of toys, crafts, games, and other cherished gifts tailored to the holiday wishes of the children.

With enthusiasm, all StateView’s employees carefully selected and purchased presents, meticulously adhering to each child’s unique wish list, ensuring that every young recipient would have something magical to unwrap on Christmas Day. It truly was a team effort. Over a few festive weeks, the company’s Christmas tree in the lobby became a centrepiece featuring a collection of thoughtful gifts, from Barbie dolls to toy trucks to LEGO sets, instilling an atmosphere of joy and eager anticipation for this good cause.

Once all the gifts were collected, they were delivered to the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, where they were received with joy by the staff, families, and children alike. The sheer happiness these gifts brought for the young patients is truly immeasurable, and the entire StateView Homes team is thrilled to have contributed to such a meaningful cause. We eagerly anticipate bringing even more cheer and goodwill this year!
