he Garage Woodend is the Macedon Ranges’ largest independent European vehicle specialist. In just under three years, husband and wife team Adrian and Andrea Matthews have built a business famous in the area for its attention to detail, as well as impeccably maintained premises – so much so that customers routinely say “you could eat off the workshop floor, it’s so clean”. “It is neat,” Andrea says, “and that’s important to us. We want people to feel that we are just as fussy with our workshop as we are with their cars. We feel it’s a good reflection of our attention to detail and quality service,” she adds.

Due to the technology-driven nature of many European cars, The Garage Woodend is developing a reputation for electrical diagnosis and repair. “As our reputation grows, we’re seeing more business come to us from outside
the region,” Andrea says. “Repair costs on some vehicles can be expensive, too, so we always make sure to find the best parts at the right price for customers so they’re not paying more than they need to. “We provide up-front service quotes on request. “All vehicle services include a full safety check and any issues that are found are reported back to the customers with a recommendation of whether we need to fix the issue there and then, or monitor for repair at next service. “We want our customers to go away confident that they have been given a fair assessment of their vehicle and haven’t been oversold work that isn’t required.” The Garage Woodend.
