MAGICAL CELEBRATION FOR NEW DISPLAY VILLAGE ARCADIA estate in Officer will transform into a storybook wonderland in preparation for a community celebration and launch of a new 35-home display village. The free family day on Saturday 21 October will combine entertainment, food, music and some creatures most Melburnians won’t be used to coming across in their city’s south-eastern suburbs. Satterley Property Group general manager for Victoria and Queensland Jack Hoffmann said the storybook theme is a nod to the book names that feature throughout Arcadia’s streets, plus the four schools within the estate. “Creating vibrant communities is at the heart of all our projects and the launch of the display village is a great opportunity to celebrate with local residents and those families that already call Arcadia home,” Mr Hoffmann said. “Not many developments boast more than one school, let alone four and, with this in mind, we decided a theme exploring the magic of books and the fun that comes from reading made a lot of sense for this event.” Hoffmann said the 35-home display village has something for everybody - adults and kids alike. The event promises ‘real adventure’ with a giant gorilla, a flock of flamingos in a sea of floating bubbles, as well as a magical unicorn guarding chocolate coins, all close to a giant jungle tent. “It’s going to be a lot of fun and as you explore you never know what you might find around the next corner,” Mr Hoffmann promised. Arcadia’s new display village features residences constructed by some of Australia’s most trusted homebuilders - from Homebuyers Centre and Boutique Homes to Metricon and Porter Davis - and there are floorplans, designs and interior finishes to
