State titles to Rhianna, Ethan CASEY LITTLE ATHLETICS Over the weekend of 28 and 29 January, Little Athletics Victoria held their State Multi Event in Bendigo where athletes competed for State Multi Titles. Depending on their age, athletes competed in five to seven separate athletic disciplines sprints, middle distance, sprint hurdles, throws (discus, shot put or javelin) and jumps (long jump or high jump) in challenging 37 C degrees conditions. The athletes score points based on the times/distances they achieve in these events and these points are collated to calculate an overall score over the number of disciplines they compete in. Fifteen athletes represented the Casey Little Athletics centre over the two days of competition. The Under 13 athletes Rhianna Clemow and Ethan Harris both took out the State titles for their age groups in the pentathlon event. Under 9 Boys - Alex Terry 12th, Hassan Abdelrahim 25th (competed in five disciplines - 100m, 800m, discus, long jump, 60m hurdles). Under 10 girls - Soha Abdelrahim 28th (competed in five

disciplines - 100m, 800m, shot put, long jump, 60m hurdles). Under 10 boys - Hudson McKay 16th (competed in five disciplines - 100m, 800m, discus, long jump, 60m hurdles). Under 11 Girls - Elena Harris 16th, Jennifer Audy 17th (competed in five disciplines - 100m, 800m, shot put, long jump, 60m hurdles). Under 11 Boys - Wadah (Bob) Abdelrahim 9th, Jackson Garner 23rd, Moyhad Abdelrahim 33rd (competed in five disciplines - 100m, 800m, discus, long jump, 60m hurdles). Under 13 girls - Rhianna Clemow 1st (competed in five disciplines - 100m, 800m, shot put, long jump, 80m hurdles). Under 13 boys - Ethan Harris 1st, Andrew Bull 21st, Daniel Bull 31st (competed in five disciplines - 100m, 800m, discus, long jump, 80m hurdles). Under 14 Boys - Callum Venables 12th (competed in six disciplines - 100m, 800m, discus, long jump, high jump, 90m hurdles). Under 15 boys - Thanuja G 9th (competed in seven disciplines - 100m, 800m, discus, long jump, high jump, 100m hurdles, javelin).
