A full acoustic Spectrum ACOUSTIC artists will take to the stage this Friday night for the Spectrum Entertainment Unplugged event in Narre Warren. The FReeZA committee, who put on music events for Casey’s youth, have organised a line-up of acoustic artists for young people to enjoy at the Narre Warren Learning Centre tomorrow night. Headliner D@Sea and supporting acts For Our Hero, Millie Tizzard, Chris G and first-time FReeZA performers Jack Pellow, Angel and Brooke Colvin will rock the stage from 7pm to 11.15pm. City of Casey mayor Geoff Ablett said he was thrilled that such a great event would be held so close to home for many Casey residents. “FReeZA regularly organise an excellent range of events for Casey’s young residents and Spectrum Entertainment Un-

plugged is set to be one of the best ever,” he said. “As a teacher I understand the need for young people to enjoy fun events in a safe environment that is nearer than the city, so this event which will be held at the Narre Warren Community Learning Centre is perfect. “Spectrum Entertainment Unplugged also gives emerging performers the opportunity to display their musical talents in front of a wider audiences.” Tickets can be purchased prior to the event from all City of Casey Customer Service Centres and Youth Information Centres for $10 or they are available at the door for $12. YES, it really is spring! We can all enjoy the sunny days and the perfumes of flowers, shrubs and trees filling the air. Shady trees, lovely gardens and picnic tables make the Old Cheese Factory a rewarding visit. The Casey Council has put a great deal of work into the grounds and surrounding gardens and it is a great place for an outing. On 23 November the Rotary Club of Berwick Farmers Market is a special place to take the whole family. In the children’s play area youngsters can unleash their energy in the huge castle or their imagined mystery world. Customers can sit under the trees and watch over their children as they enjoy the safe play area.

The park like surroundings, provide a refreshing place to relax with a barbecue brunch or lunch, a soft drink or a cup of coffee. We carefully select stall holders and have increased the range of products. There is a selection of more than 40 producers, which includes a wide range of the best quality seasonal fruits and vegetables. Apples, strawberries and raspberries are currently at their delicious best. Like the fruit and vegetables, the market offers an exceptionally wide range of different beef, chicken, lamb and pork cuts. A service offered by the meat suppliers is that they will bring prearranged Christmas orders to the market for customers. Family needs can be selected from the offers of biscuits, breads,

cakes, cheeses, chutneys and jams, garlic, olives and oils, pastas, herbs and spices. There is a quality range of fruit juices, beers and wines. You can be assured that the farmers’ market provides outstanding fresh products at competitive prices. Customers do take up the offers and taste test the quality of samples from the stalls. The Christmas Twilight Market on Monday 23 December from 4pm to 8pm. It’s a family festival, with fun for children and Santa will provide special treats. There is free parking at The Old Cheese Factory, 34 Homestead Road, Berwick. The Rotary Club of Berwick Farmers Market is on Saturday 23 November, 8am to 12.30pm.
