Christ Jesus is risen! Christ has risen indeed! Alleluia!
CalltoWorship AngelaZimmerman
Rejoice, for God is gracious and merciful, Full of compassion and love. What can we give back to God for all the good things He has done for us?
We will lift up the cup of salvation! We will call on his name!
We will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving! We will keep the promises we’ve made to God.
Come,peopleofGod, Let us worship together!
LightingoftheChristCandle
We light the Christ candle as a reminder that Christ is the one who has drawn us to this place, abides with us now, and is with us to the end of the age.

PrayerofConfession PatsyRoach
Gracious God, When we remember the journey of our faith, the story that we live with you and one another, we recall all the ways we have missed the mark. We have failed to live our Christian story well. We have neglected to listen to and believe the stories of our neighbors. We have turned away from the needs of the poor. We have shied away from the suffering of our neighbors. We have valued independence over interdependence and connection. In so many ways, big and small, our lives have not demonstrated our new life in Christ. Forgive us, we pray.
Help us testify to the Good News with our voices and our lives. Amen.
AssuranceofPardon
Hear this good news: The tomb is empty. The stone is rolled away. We are forgiven, loved, and restored.
Alleluia! Thanks be to God! *Hymn#200

Listening to God
TheChurchatPrayer&TheLord’sPrayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Responding to God’s Word
DisciplineofSilence
AngelaZimmerman
To be in God’s presence is to be changed. During this moment of silent reflection, consider the change God wishes to make in you.
If you sense God calling you today, we invite you to respond during this time of invitation. If God is calling you to follow Jesus for the first time, to rededicate yourself as a Christ-follower, or as a faithful Christian, to join the fellowship of our church, we encourage you to come forward to speak to our pastor during this closing hymn.
