Physical Education Congratulations to all pupils who have represented the school in athletics this year. There have been some good individual performances. In the Junior Championships Clare Halligan (Year 8) came 2nd in the 100m and Annabelle Birch-Hurst (Year 8) came 1st in the high jump. Maddie Lloyd

(Year 7) won the 1500m in the Year girls Championships. Sophie Boyle (Year 11) and Phoenix Kaged (Year 10 ) were both selected to represent Cardiff and the Vale in the inter-counties in July. Thank you to the PTA who supplied the new athletics kit which was proudly worn by pupils at the recent athletics competitions. We are very grateful for the PTA’s continued support and I am sure our readers agree that the girls and boys look very smart indeed.
