Background The original Gym building was opened in 1966. A further $10 million was invested into sports facilities at the College in 2014, with the opening of Gym 2, new hockey and netball courts, and an upgrade to the rugby field. Project One. To make room for the new Ben Gough Family Theatre, we have relocated the existing Fitness Centre to above Gym 1. Along with the construction of a brand new spacious, fully equipped Fitness Centre, we have strengthened Gym 1, and upgraded the changing room facilities.
