Speaking of bequests, a significant bequest was left by Professor Stephen Salsbury to the College in 1998, which established four endowed scholarships that still exist and support students to this day. You can learn about his story on page 14.
In 2019, we continued to review how we acknowledge our donors. The Foundation Board have developed a new way to recognise the contribution of significant gifts in the form of The Highlander Club. Find out more about this initiative at the end of this Report. Finally, we thank our fellow Foundation Directors, Andrew Murray AM, Russell Bye, Randall Powell, Bob Stitt, Mitchell Taylor, Grace Petre and the newly joined Amanda Mostyn, for their continued stewardship of our benefactors and the Foundation in 2019.
We also again thank Hannah Atwell, Director of Advancement, and her team for all the work they do to ensure our Alumni Relations and Philanthropy programs continue to be successful.
We hope that you will continue to be part of our journey in 2020 as we continue to seek funds to open more doors and create opportunities for students to experience St Andrew’s College. Your support is essential to the success of the College and we invite you to continue to be our most passionate advocates and supporters.
