I’m sure you can commiserate in my humiliation over my inability to achieve my New Year’s resolutions every year. It’s gotten to the point where I question why I continue to make them, and why, for that matter, we all do? I mean, how did this all get started anyhow? Like many others, I’ve always been fond of the idea of a new year being a clean slate. We all make mistakes and sometimes it’s nice to pretend that

we have a magical “reset” button that makes all of our troubles go away, as trivial as some of them may be. With that in mind, I can’t help but make another set of resolutions for 2013, and I welcome you to too. This wall decal by Shanna Murray is the inspiration behind my number one resolution for the new year; I will try new things, no matter how scary they may seem.
