CODE OF CONDUCT

Dear member of the Stala family,

Our ethical guidelines reflect our company’s values, which are social, inspired, honest and innovative. These values guide our daily work, our decision-making and the way we treat each other and our partners.

BRIBES AND BRIBERY

• We prohibit accepting or offering extravagant bribes to persons who can influence on decisions.

• Every employee has the obligation to inform his supervisor or a member of the excutive board, if bribes are offered or attempted.

CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

• Our employees have an obligation to declare their conflicts of interest, which may affect their ability to act objectively.

CORRUPTION, MONEY LAUNDERING AND FINANCING TERRORISM

• At Stala, any activity promoting corruption is prohibited.

• We do not accept money laundering in any form.

• We prohibit financing or supporting terrorism in all its forms.

GOOD GOVERNANCE

• Transparent decision-making stems from Stala’s values, so we encourage for open communication in the organization.

• We all have an obligation to comply with applicable laws and regulations and ethical standards in business.

PROTECTION OF THE COMPANY’S TRADE SECRETS, IPR RIGHTS AND INFORMATION

• Information and data are the key assets of our company. All our employees and our business partners are obliged to protect Stala´s and its business partners’ information. We respect our partners data, and do not pass it on to third parties without business functional basis.

• We respect the IPR rights of others and do not infringe them with our own activities.

COMPETITORS AND COOPERATION WITH STAKEHOLDERS

• We respect our competitors and do not engage in unfair practices that may damage their reputation.

• We respect all relevant competition laws. We do not agree on harmful practices among our competitors, such as on price, market shares or make sales quota agreements with our competitors.

• We want to listen to our stakeholders, and add value by cooperating throughout our supply chain and between our stakeholders.

• We respect the basic rights of all people and promote realization of human rights in all our activities.

• We fight against discrimination, inequality and exploitation in all its forms.

• We comply with international human rights standards and local laws in protection of human rights.

• We treat all employees and partners equally and fairly without discrimination.

This code of conduct guides Stala’s operations in every operational area. The purpose is to ensure that Stala operates in an ethically sustainable way, protecting people, nature and society and promoting ecological development.

ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS

• We constantly strive to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and to promote sustainable development in all our business processes.

• We minimize our energy consumption and carbon footprint as much as possible. We follow and promote the use of renewable energy sources. In our factory, we only use renewable wind energy.

• We pay special attention to material recycling and waste reduction.

SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

• We encourage sustainable consumption and production so that we can ensure rational use of natural resources and preservation of ecological balance.

• We prefer recyclable materials and strive to as long as possible life cycle in our products and the recyclability of the materials at the end of their service life.

• We constantly develop our products and services to be more environmentally friendly, and we strive to minimize the amount of waste and promote it´s recycling.

COMPLIANCE WITH LEGISLATION

• We undertake to comply with all applicable environmental legislation requirements and standards in our operations.

• We act ethically and responsibly in terms of environmental protection, exceeding local legislative requirements where applicable.

• We promote an open dialogue with our stakeholders on environmental issues and we strive to take their views into account in decision-making.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

• We train and inform our personnel about environmental issues and we encourage them to take environmental aspects into account in their daily work.

• We promote environmental awareness also among our customers and partners by providing information and guidance for making sustainable choices.
