APPLYING TO THE UNIVERSITY The academic year in the UK runs from September until July, although we have a number of courses which start in January. Applicants are encouraged to apply for courses at the beginning of the academic year as it can take some months to make all the necessary arrangements. The earlier you apply the better.

English Language Requirements It is essential that you hold an appropriate English Language qualification. The University asks for a minimum of IELTS 6.0. with 5.5 in all bands or an alternative recognised by UKVI. Certain courses such as Journalism and Law require a higher IELTS score.
