St. Michael's Fortress

St. Michael's Fortress, the oldest fortress in Šibenik, was built on a steep hill 60m above the sea level, overlooking the estuary of the Krka River. It is a recognizable monument in the very heart of the town, daily available for visitors and sightseeing and a place that promotes culture throughout the organization of various cultural, musical and theatrical events on the most prestigious open-air stage in Croatia.
